Difficult to Read at Times, But a Fun Read Nonetheless
Howard Pyle used a great deal of archaic language, so a dictionary is necessary if you're not familiar with archaic English.
That being said, the story was very fun and interesting. I found myself loving the scenery and the stories. Reading a fictitious tale involving one of my ancestors, Eleanor of Aquitaine, was also a major bonus.
