She-Wolves: The Women Who Ruled England Before Elizabeth - Helen Castor

I found this to be a brief but comprehensive book on several queens that were not the stereotypical queens we picture in popular culture when we think of medieval queens.

 

The women mentioned were some of the earliest feminists, and this book has made me want to read more about these incredible, tough, and intelligent women.
