I read all kinds of books (one of my friends jokes that I will read anything that holds still long enough), but sci fi/fantasy is my favorite. I also love books on anthropology and archaeology and other sciences.
An enchanting novel. I loved how Pasternak really drew one in and created such likeable characters. Usually, I'm not too big on classics, but Pasternak's writing style is concise and, unlike a lot of classic writings, not tedious, so they are more reader friendly. I think this is a book that everybody should read, because it illustrates the horrors that can happen during violent times.
