The Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer Bradley I thought this book was good, but I see why a lot of people are less than fond of it. For one, while I didn't see Morgause's plot coming, it definitely puts a damper on the political intrigue, especially when you consider how far her kingdom is from Camelot. I also did not like that Mordred didn't survive the battle with Arthur; while he was a little on the insane end, it would have been better than perpetual war.I did like Morgaine's conclusion that all Gods are the same God; that is something that is really pertinent these days. I definitely saw this book as an allegory of what is going on with respect to people going to war over religious differences and discrimination based on religious views.
