I can see why my father billed this as one of the scariest books of all time. What else could be scarier than a used car being run by the ghost of its former owner and killing people?
I really enjoyed the first person narrative, but much preferred the third person used during themiddle third of the book. To me, King's prose shines much more brightly when he uses the third person.
While I liked the ending, I did find the epilogue to really raise the hair on the back of my neck. That it implies that the story isn't truly over is a great way to end it.
