Gone with the Wind - Margaret Mitchell I found myself swept up in a world unlike my own, a world where war had ravaged the land and where barbarism followed thereafter. I also found a series of morals toward the end: you don't know what you have until it's gone, the value of some things are lost once gotten, and be careful what you wish for.Mind you, I did not find myself relating to or wanting to be like Scarlett; while Scarlett was very strong, I found her selfish and spoiled. I saw myself looking more up to Melanie than anyone else because she saw good in everyone, was positive, and was thankful for everything she had.
