I read all kinds of books (one of my friends jokes that I will read anything that holds still long enough), but sci fi/fantasy is my favorite. I also love books on anthropology and archaeology and other sciences.
This was rather dry compared with Austen's other literature. That being said, I did enjoy the element of Anne breaking away from pleasing everyone all the time and simply pleasing herself. To me, that was one of the best messages a book can send to a person.
