Stone Of Tears: Book 2: Sword of Truth Series (Gollancz S.F.) - Terry Goodkind This book did not move as quickly as Wizard's First Rule did. Nonetheless, I often found myself regretting to put this book down to do something else. This was a fun and enjoyable read, and it was exciting. I actually had adrenaline rushes during some of the battle scenes because of the graphic nature. While I couldn't relate to Richard, I could relate to Kahlan and her inner conflict to do good for people who believed so many negative things against her and even tried to behead her for the hearsay they believed.I found the culture shock that Chandalan had to experience outside his people's land to be a great form of comic relief. The scene with Kahlan explaining why he shouldn't compliment a woman on her breasts was especially amusing.
